Mana & Casting
What is mana?
Spells cost mana. The bar appears on the HUD after you learn your first spell.
- Default cap 100, regen about 2 per second (even while standing still)
- Stops regen at full
- Cost varies by spell and rank
Servers can change cap and regen—follow your server.
Skills vs spells vs bar
| Idea | Meaning |

| Skill | Tree node you bought, e.g. Fireball rank 3 |
| Spell | Active ability the skill grants |
| Skill bar | 7 hotkey slots—you must equip spells here to cast with keys |

Mana costs (reference)

| Ignite | 5 | Empty-hand right-click, not on bar |
| Fireball 1/2/3 | 8 / 12 / 20 | Higher rank = more damage |
| Holy Smite | 30 | True-damage lightning |
| Flame Dash | 20 | Dash + fire wall |
| Firestorm | 40–50 | By rank |
| Swift Surge | 15–25 | Short speed boost |
Cooldowns from under a second to tens of seconds—wait for the icon.
Nothing happens?
| Situation | Fix |
|---|---|
| No response | Spell equipped? Right hotkey? |
| Not enough mana | Wait for regen or use mana potions if the pack has them |
| On cooldown | Watch the bar icon |
| No target | Holy Smite needs an enemy near crosshair |
| Ignite fails | Main hand must be empty; skill enabled in UI? |
Tips
- Top off mana before fights
- Put frequent spells on R, T, etc.
- Firestorm and Swift Surge need positioning—don’t trap yourself
- Toggle Ignite off when mining to avoid accidents
