Mining Skill XP from breaking blocks—harder blocks pay more. Leaves and wool usually don’t count.
Steady Hands (join talent) already gives +10% mining speed and stacks with this line.

Mining Speed (5) → Mining Fortune (needs Speed 2) → Catalyst Smelting (needs Fortune 1)Hit Speed 2 before Fortune, then push Catalyst Smelting for long-term payoff.
