Talent screen (K)
A draggable, zoomable constellation map.
Home: seven entries
- Talents — only your join-roll passives
- Combat / Mining / Farming / Fishing / Crafting / Exploration — skill lines with current Skill XP and unlock count
Node colors

Clicking nodes
- Left click: upgrade (spends that category’s Skill XP)
- Right click: details—effects, cost, prerequisites, rarity
- Some skills have enable/disable (e.g. Ignite if you keep mis-clicking)
- Spell skills let you equip to skill bar slots 1–7 in details
Developmental talents
Poison Resistance and Thermal Skin show progress bars in details (food eaten, fire damage taken); they level when the bar fills.
Skill bar & HUD
Once you know at least one spell:
- Mana: current / max, regens over time (default ~2/sec)
- Skill bar: up to 7 spell icons with hotkeys
- Cooldown: icon spin or dim while on CD
No mana or still on cooldown → hotkey does nothing.
Skill wheel (middle mouse)
For swapping spells without memorizing seven keys:
- Hold middle mouse to open the wheel
- Left click a slice to cast
- ESC to cancel
Only unlocked spells appear. Ignite is not on the wheel—see Spell Guide.
Casting checklist
- Learned the skill at the right rank
- Spell equipped on the bar (wheel still needs unlock)
- Enough mana
- Off cooldown
- Valid target (e.g. Holy Smite needs an enemy near your crosshair)
Watch the action bar for “not enough mana”, “on cooldown”, “no target”, etc.
FAQ
Why is my Skill XP not moving?
You must do the matching activity—mining alone won’t raise combat XP. See How to Progress.
Green node won’t click?
Check prerequisite ranks or max level.
Learned Fireball but R does nothing?
Equip Fireball to a skill bar slot in the K screen, then press that slot’s key.
Berserker lost a rank when I died?
That’s the skill’s death penalty—not a bug.
