Welcome to Fatepath

Born with destiny, choose your path

On first joining a world, the system randomly assigns several talents—passive abilities that persist for the playthrough. Thereafter, combat, mining, farming, fishing, anvil use, and exploration each grant Skill XP used to unlock and upgrade skills on the talent tree.

Core concepts:

  1. Talents — granted on first join, generally not changeable
  2. Skills — unlocked with Skill XP across six paths: combat, mining, farming, fishing, crafting, exploration
  3. Spells — active abilities from certain skills, cast via the skill bar

Quick start

StepAction
1Join the world; check the talent notice or press K to view assigned talents
2Play normally; Skill XP accumulates from matching activities
3Press K, open a category; green nodes indicate sufficient XP to learn or upgrade
4After learning a spell skill, equip the spell to the skill bar in details
5Cast with R / T / F … (R is slot 1 by default); monitor mana and cooldowns

See UI & Controls and How to Progress.
